I've never blogged before. Is that correct? "Blogged?" It does'nt seem right. A person who posts on a "blog" is a "blogger?" A "Blogger," "blogs" on a "blog" or has "blogged" in the past... It's an ugly sort of word isn't it? Reminds me of "booger" or "bog." Both are words that leave an ugly visual in my mind. I've decided that while I "blog," I will type freely. So everyone will beable to witness my terrible grammer, my sometimes unseemly spelling and my utter lack of punctuation, etc. If I ignore my desire to type freely, I will obsess over these things. Constantly worrying about critique, so much so, that I will never type another word, ever. I hope that everyone will understand and ignore my mis-doings within the English language. I can assure you, I am quite aware of the rules and would never intentionally ignore their importance. "Here's to you 'Little Brown Hand Book of Grammer,' may you enjoy your new place, under the rocky table leg in my dining room."
In all seriousness, I am truly grateful to have the simple little piece that I wrote about military home life published in this fantastic anthology. I am truly honored to have my words placed in the same text as these wonderful writers!
Cheers!
